Calgary Science Network has adopted the Imagine
Canada – Ethical
Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code (released
October 2007 and updated October 2008). The primary purpose
of this code is to assure donors of the integrity and accountability
of charities that solicit and receive their financial support.

The Enhanced Charitable
Tax Credit, recenctly
introduced by the Alberta Government, benefits both individual
donors and the charities they support. Donors can receive an
increased tax credit and the charity is eligible to receive
a Community Spirit Grant based on donations from individuals.
In April CSN received $2,351 from this program. For more information

Many employers make matching donations to charities supported
by their employees, please check to see if your company offers
this added benefit.
